fb0 error |

I am still working on fb0, but for now I put fb1 in the DMZ of the router so we can ssh into the lab network.
I created a CentOS minimal liveCD and was able to rebuild the initrd files, but this did not fix the problem. Based on this, I think it is more likely a filesystem error than a ramdisk error. I tried to use the CentOS 5.3 rescue mode, but it could not mount the system disks, which further supports the conclusion that this is a fs error. fsck found multiple filesystem errors which I fixed, but this did not fix the booting problem. I think at this point we are going to have to wait for Alex to be back next week, because I am fresh out of ideas to fix the system. If I get any flashes of insight over the weekend I will come in and give it a shot, but otherwise hopefully Alex can fix it. |
