This is a list of what needs to be done next.
- Understand and fix error signal offset problem
- New OLTFs
- Obtain new cavity responses (in V/Hz) with PDA255s using (2) and known actuation/PDH gains
- Characterize notch filter to extend loop characterization and electronics noise influence beyond 10 kHz
- Produce current noise budget (including new electronics noise info) and gyro noise spectrum, update SVN
- PDA255 characterization
- Measure noise directly (RF analyzer)
- Compare with spec and expected noise from circuit
- Modify PDH box(es)
- Reduce gain range in order to increase gyro optical power and utilize maximum optical gain without instability
- Replace OP27s with faster op amps to improve UGF phase margin
- Repeat (2-5)
In parallel:
- Finalize CDS setup and procedures
- Write MATLAB code to automate gyro spectrum generation (make it plot this along with current NB)
- Investigate servo noise level
- Is it too high to benefit from better RFPDs? If so, make sure that custom design is not (actually, do that either way...)
- Altium: RFPDs and custom servos
- Fancy stuff:
- Remote/automatic BOOST/slow loop control
- Autolock script
