Those plots are so beautifull...I was so much impressed

I have put a script which auto calibrates and generates spectra in the svn under /mDV/extra/C2/dmass/MZSpecGenerator.m

 

 

Edit - Added shot noise, and put a plot in terms of frequency noise (Note that the y axis is mislabeled, and should read Hz/rtHz).

NOTE THE RELATIVE FREQUENCY STABILITY. When I look at it like this, chasing the "excess phase noise" leftover from locking the MZ at low frequency seems a lot less important.
