Here are the calculations for the mode mismatch between the horizontal (tangential) and vertical (sagittal) directions for when the curved mirror is being used as the input coupler.

Attachment 1 shows the mismatch (calculated at the point with the smallest beam) with the angle of incidence on the curved optic and Attachment 2 shows the ideal minimal beam waist for the two directions. The effective radius of curvature seen for a beam at \theta angle of incidence is R \cos(\theta) in the tangential direction and R/ \cos(\theta) in the sagittal direction.

Attachments 3 and 4 are two new mode-matching solutions considering the new location of the curved mirror, but still only using spherical (not cylindrical) lenses without correcting for the astigmatism.
