Yesterday I showed Yeyuan Xin (Yinzi), a new undergraduated student, the PSL lab and went over some of the thermal control elements of the CTN experiment with her.  I also showed her the electronics workshop and she had a look at the heater driver circuit.  I have given her some copies of the current Python scripts that interface with the modbus and she has copies of the Perl PID scripts to look over.

So far she has two tasks to look into: translation of the Perl PID scripts to python; and, improving and building a basic low noise heater driver.
